Key Responsibilities-
Design end-to-end data architecture for:
-
Data synchronization
-
Bulk data loads
-
Legacy system (RMV3) decommissioning
-
Define scalable and reliable data flow patterns across systems
-
Lead data migration strategies from Oracle-based legacy systems to Azure environments
-
Design and implement integration patterns between multiple systems and platforms
-
Ensure seamless data availability for downstream applications and services
-
Provide architectural oversight and guidance on:
-
Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
-
Data Lake architecture
-
Azure SQL environments
-
Messaging/integration via Service Bus
-
Establish best practices for orchestration and pipeline design
-
Define and enforce data quality frameworks and validation processes
-
Implement governance standards across data pipelines and integrations
-
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across environments
-
Work closely with Agile delivery teams, engineers, and stakeholders
-
Provide hands-on support where needed across implementation
-
Contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-paced, multi-system environment
-
Strong experience in data architecture and data modelling
-
Deep experience with Oracle (legacy systems)
-
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Stack, including:
-
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
-
Azure Data Lake
-
Azure SQL
-
Azure Service Bus
-
Expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and tools
-
Experience designing near real-time and event-driven data pipelines
-
Strong understanding of data synchronization and bulk data processing
-
Proven track record delivering in:
-
Large-scale data transformation programs
-
Multi-system integration environments
-
Legacy system modernization initiatives
-
Comfortable operating in Agile environments
-
Able to balance architecture leadership with hands-on execution
-
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills
-
Public sector or government project experience
-
Experience with legacy system decommissioning strategies
-
Exposure to high-volume transactional data environments
