We are seeking workers with a solid understanding of heavy duty equipment mechanics. The successful candidate for this position will be a general jack-of-all tradesperson. You are a problem solver who is able to develop innovative solutions to problems, and can work independently without supervision. The ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in both repairing said vehicles and communicating with co- workers. This is field service work completed with a fully equipped service truck; all tools provided. Shift work in remote sites, camp (accommodations) and travel covered. 12 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
Service and repair a variety of mining equipment, such as rock truck, graders, dozers, excavators, etc.
Experienced with Komatsu
Experienced with Cat Gear
Preferably experienced with Automotive
Diagnose problems with vehicles and make necessary repairs.
Maintain and care for service truck.
Drive truck to different locations.
Ability to work alone in winter conditions.
Competent with computer programs such as CAT, Etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
