Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer tosupport our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and conducting opinions report for various residential and small scale commercial projects. Candidates must have experience in lumber, steel and concrete materials.
Duties
- Develop detailed structural designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Prepare technical calculations and analyses ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to coordinate project requirements and deliverables.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to facilitate accurate implementation.
- Conduct site visits.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.
Experience
- Must be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
- Proven experience in structural engineering with a strong background in construction projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and Blueabeam Drafting tools is essential.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working on diverse projects involving both design and inspection / opinions drafting will be advantageous.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
