The Quality Inn & Suites Petawawa, an nine-time Platinum Award winning hotel, and Choice Hotels Canada 2025 Hotel of the Year is currently seeking a select individual to join our front desk team. To be a successful member of our incredible team, the individual must possess an exceptional eye for detail, have great customer service skills, fantastic time management and a passion to provide memorable guest experiences. This individual thrives in both a team environment as well as working independently.

You must be available for:
- Part-Time Hours: 16-32 hours a week; 4-6hr cover shift, 8hr shift
- Must be comfortable to work alone
- Must reside within a 30 minute commute of the hotel. No exceptions
- Available for shift work - Preference will be given to candidates with the most availability.
Job Duties
- Create exceptional guest stays by ensuring excellence in guest experiences through customer service interactions which include over the phone and in-person
- greet guests and provide them with local area information and well as hotel information
- enroll guests in hotel loyalty program through exceptional sales skills
- help to ensure the overall success of the hotel by creating memorable guest stays for everyone who visits us by providing exceptional customer service
- be efficient, a multitasker and comfortable with a fast-paced environment centered around guest services
- assist guests by taking reservations, modifying reservations, managing guest requests and answering a multi-line switchboard
- administrative duties such as answering emails, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel
- processing cash, debit and credit card payments
- setting up meeting rooms
- have a flexible schedule that allows for shift work which could include overnight shifts
- must be comfortable working alone
- light housekeeping duties such as mopping and folding towels
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Previous hotel front desk experience or equivalent required
Computer skills such as working with Microsoft Office and email programs
Possess excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
administration skills in a fast-paced environment
