Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill Setter to join our client's team at Bowmanville, ON. The CNC Mill Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mill machines, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring smooth machine operations. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized work environment and performing various tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Duties
- CNC Mill Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC Milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any errors or issues during machine operations, including program or machine malfunctions.
- Machine Monitoring: Continuously observe and monitor machine performance to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, ensuring that machines are in top working condition. Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Supervisor and other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Take on any other tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machining environment, with demonstrated knowledge of machining processes.
- Proficient in CNC Mill machine operation and setup.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and technical issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and machine maintenance practices.
- CAD/CAM Programming knowledge is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
