Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Stylist / Hair Assistant to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Assist senior stylists with hair styling, blowouts, and treatments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Greet clients warmly at the front desk, check appointments, and manage scheduling.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon environment.
- Upsell retail products and promote additional services to clients to enhance their experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Support with retail sales by recommending products suited to clients’ needs.
- Handle front desk responsibilities including check-in/check-out procedures, managing appointments, and processing payments.
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all salon areas are organized and professional.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of Hair styling or Hair Assistant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively.
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques or a keen interest in developing these skills.
- Understanding of sanitation standards within a salon environment.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within the beauty industry. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
