About the Role
As a Foreign Exchange Specialist at MTFX, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that newly onboarded clients experience a seamless transition from sales to service. You’ll work closely with finance teams across Canada and the U.S. to educate, train, and guide them in using our payment platforms, FX services, and automation tools.
This is a high-touch, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, solving complex problems, and helping businesses gain confidence in managing global transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding journey: Partner with Account Executives to understand client goals and ensure a smooth post-sale transition.
- Educate and empower: Train clients on our FX platforms, approval workflows, spend management tools, and integrations with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Support product setup: Assist in setting up FX contracts, user access, reporting, and automation features for B2B clients.
- Be a trusted partner: Build long-term relationships by providing ongoing guidance, answering client questions, and proactively identifying ways to improve their MTFX experience.
- Collaborate internally: Work with Sales, Compliance, Product, and Operations to remove roadblocks and enhance the client journey.
- Track success metrics: Use HubSpot to log activity, report on onboarding progress, and track adoption KPIs.
- Gather feedback: Act as the client’s voice internally, sharing insights to improve product usability and service enhancements.
What You Bring
- 3+ years experience in foreign exchange, onboarding, sales support, or implementation preferably in fintech, SaaS, FX, or B2B services
- Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Strong understanding of B2B financial workflows, FX risk, or cross-border payments is a major asset
- Comfortable leading product walkthroughs, resolving issues, and coaching users on digital tools
- Tech-savvy and organized: Skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, CRM workflows, and virtual meeting platforms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage projects independently
- Client-first mindset, eager to build trust and deliver value throughout the lifecycle
