Super 8 by Wyndham Kirkland Lake is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our guests, so a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel reservation system
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
- Handle payments, billing, and cash/credit transactions accurately
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is an asset (hotel experience preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
