Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Laborer to join our manufacturing team in the food processing industry. our company is Paramount Fine Foods and we supply products to our restaurants and to Walmart.
This role involves supporting daily operations through various physical tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of production while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and an understanding of safety protocols to contribute effectively to our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with packaging products efficiently and accurately to meet production goals
- Operate forklifts safely for moving materials and finished goods within the facility
- Support food industry standards by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the workspace
- Perform basic mechanical tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to verify measurements and quantities
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Support food processing operations by preparing ingredients, assembling components, and handling materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with packaging, forklift operation, or manufacturing is a plus
- Knowledge of food industry practices, including sanitation and food safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues is desirable
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Prior experience in food processing or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
