The Project Lead will report to the Project Manager or the General Manager and will be responsible for leading the complete engineering, procurement, and construction work for the CANDUclean program.

Lead the CANDUclean program from a project technical perspective. This includes long range identification and planning as well as execution of the series of major outage projects that encompass the program.

Responsible for the overall scope of the program and accountable for leading work in order to meet safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.

Act as the principal technical lead providing overall technical direction and management for a large group of engineers and technicians at senior, intermediate, and junior levels.

Explore not only CANDUclean subject areas, but also other cleaning and shielding applications, as the chief technical expert. This includes developing novel approaches not only to improve execution of current contracts but also to win future contracts.

Lead client engagement, present technical solutions, and support/lead proposals for outage projects.

Responsible for implementing the project schedule and supporting the project manager in tracking budget for all engineering, procurement, construction segments of the program.

Select, evaluate, mentor, and train junior and intermediate engineers, technicians, and coordinators, fostering technical growth and supporting career development within the Candu Field Services organization.

Lead the preparation of technical documents in support of the project.

Provide status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.

Ensure work is performed within quality program requirements.
