Leadership Opportunity in a Growing Management Division
We are a growing commercial, industrial, and condominium management company seeking an experienced and motivated Condominium Management Broker to lead and grow our condominium management division.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing condominium management operations, supporting condominium corporations and boards, and contributing to the continued growth of our management portfolio. While candidates who already hold a Condominium Management Broker licence are strongly preferred, we are willing to support the right individual in obtaining their broker licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of condominium corporations and commercial/industrial properties.
- Act as the primary point of contact for condominium boards, owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare for, attend, and lead Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- Provide guidance to condominium boards regarding governance, bylaws, policies, and operational matters.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, capital projects, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements.
- Review financial statements, budgets, accounts receivable reports, reserve fund plans, and management reports.
- Assist boards with annual budgeting and financial planning.
- Respond to owner and board inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, condominium regulations, and management agreements.
- Contribute to the strategic growth and leadership of the condominium management division.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Licence in Property Management.
- Associate Licence in Condominium Management.
- Experience managing condominium corporations and working directly with condominium boards.
- Experience leading Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- Strong understanding of condominium governance, bylaws, and condominium operations.
- Experience reviewing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
- Proficiency with Buildium, QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Condominium Management Broker Licence.
- Experience supervising or mentoring property management staff.
- Experience growing and developing a condominium management portfolio.
Knowledge of commercial and industrial property management.
