Amanah Tech is seeking a hands-on System Administrator to support and maintain our Linux server, hosting, and data center infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux server administration, web hosting platforms, hardware deployment, and day-to-day infrastructure support, with the ability to work independently in a production environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers in production environments
- Administer and support shared hosting and dedicated hosting services, including cPanel and Plesk
- Perform server provisioning, migrations, patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring
- Support server infrastructure, including hardware installation, rack & stack, cabling, component replacement, and troubleshooting
- Manage backup and disaster recovery operations using Veeam Backup & Replication
- Monitor infrastructure health, service availability, and system alerts
- Provide technical support for internal systems and client environments
- Assist with data centre activities including migrations, troubleshooting, and remote hands support
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change / incident records
- Work with vendors and clients on deployment and support requests
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience
- Experience with cPanel and/or Plesk administration
- Experience with physical server hardware, storage, and deployment workflows
- Experience in data centre operations, managed hosting, MSP, or web hosting environments preferred
- Familiarity with backup solutions and monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Proxmox VE or VMware ESXi
- Experience with TCP/IP networking, VLANs, switching, and firewall troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Fortinet FortiGate
- Experience with Zabbix, Ubersmith, or similar tools
- Experience supporting colocation / dedicated hosting environments

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
