Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager will support our store manager in the store’s daily operations and oversee the store in her absence, while providing excellent sales and customer service alongside our very experienced sales team.
Skills and experience:
- You have a passion for both retail and photography.
- Minimum of 3 years sales combined with management or supervisory experience in a camera store (or big box store’s Photo dept)
- Excellent knowledge of both digital and film photography and camera equipment, plus videography. Experience with used equipment and trade-ins would be valuable.
- Photography courses or related education preferred.
Current schedule: Tuesdays to Saturdays

- Our "Main store" 2170 West 41 Ave, Vancouver
- Conveniently located in the heart of Kerrisdale, a block from the Kerrisdale Community Centre and the Arbutus greenway. Indoor bicycle parking available.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Please note that the salary range shown is an estimate that includes a base hourly wage and sales incentives (based on averages in the past year).
- Group benefits plan is effective after 3 months of full-time employment.
Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
