Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, and operate various material handling equipment.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking orders accurately
- Call couriers to pick up orders and fill out all required paperwork
- Receive incoming goods and distribute to the correct department
- Organize and store inventory efficiently within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipment details
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
- Ensure all shipping & receiving activities comply with safety standards and company policies
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving operations
- Valid forklift certificate required along with experience operating forklifts
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment procedures
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
