Temporary Landscaping Labourer – 2-Day Contract
Duration: 2 Days
Pay: $23 - $27 per hour (8 hour days)
We're looking for 2–4 reliable, hard-working individuals to help complete a paving stone patio installation over a two-day period.
The work is straightforward and doesn't require previous paving experience. The site is already prepared and almost completely level. Your primary tasks will be:
- Final leveling of the bedding sand
- Lifting and placing concrete paving stones
- Keeping paving stones aligned in straight, consistent rows
- General site cleanup and assistance as needed
Once the first few rows are established, the work is repetitive and easy to learn.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy concrete paving stones throughout the day
- Able to work outdoors in all typical weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
- Careful with details and able to maintain straight lines and consistent spacing
- Able to follow directions and work well as part of a small team
Bonus Skills
Experience with any of the following is an asset but not required:
- Landscaping
- Paving stones
- General construction labour
- Carpentry
- Concrete or excavation work
Opportunity for Additional Work
Workers who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and good attitude may be offered additional contract work. We have additional projects involving general carpentry, construction, and property improvement for individuals who prove themselves.
