Job Overview
We are a family owned business in Vaughan and are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver/Inventory Control specialist. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient shipping and receiving processes. As a small business, the candidate will need to be flexible as duties will include operating a machine and light assembly of hoses as well as assisting with some administrative functions.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately
- Operate forklift as needed
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock levels to ensure data integrity
- Organize warehouse space for optimal storage and easy retrieval of items
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- ability to lift 50 lbs
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or inventory control preferred
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes including order picking and packing
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations. ability to sequence numbers
- Warehouse experience emphasizing accuracy in order processing and inventory control is a plus
- maintaining attention to detail, be self motivation and able to work with minimal supervision
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
