We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team and help create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
Position Overview:
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator at our kids' art studio, you will play a key role in guiding young children through creative and educational art activities. You will work closely with children, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive development, all while ensuring a fun, engaging, and safe environment. Your experience and expertise will help children explore their creativity, build their confidence, and develop important skills that last a lifetime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate art-based activities for children in various age groups.
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate programs that encourage creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Observe and document children’s progress and development, providing feedback to families as needed.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for children to explore art and creativity.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute special events, workshops, and activities.
- Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring excellent communication and support.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through art and play-based learning.
- Stay informed on current early childhood education practices and incorporate them into daily activities.
Qualifications:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a creative or arts-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in child education.
- Passion for art, creativity, and fostering children’s imaginations.
- Ability to develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
