Duties
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips
Qualifications
MUST be able to Cross the Border to the USA
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
min 1 years experience in winter driving
Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving responsibilities
Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy
Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools
Preferred qualifications include experience with freight handling on different truck types familiarity with refrigerated trailer operations, A background in commercial driving combined with a commitment to safety will set you apart as a top candidate.
