We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and guest-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel team. This is an excellent opportunity for a semi-retired individual or anyone looking for a rewarding part-time position with morning hours while enjoying daily interaction with guests.
Schedule
Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. To ensure a smooth guest experience, the successful candidate must be available to:
- Start at 6:00 a.m. for breakfast preparation and setup.
- Finish at approximately 11:30 a.m. after cleanup and resetting the breakfast area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet before service begins.
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ensure food is fresh, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard throughout service.
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the breakfast area.
- Clean and sanitize the dining area, buffet, and kitchen equipment after breakfast service.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with any questions or requests.
Qualifications
- Valid Food Safe Level 1 certification (required).
- Valid First Aid Level 1 certification (required).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Outgoing, positive, and professional personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional guest service.
