Are you passionate about helping people and delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at our Kanata location.
Optical (prescription eyewear) and retail management experience is required.
What You'll Do
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Assist with sales, eye exam scheduling, inventory control, and team coordination.
- Help monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment with head office, and participate in regular inventory audits.
- Ensure the store's appearance, cleanliness, and product displays meet company standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members to help create a positive customer experience.
- Deliver professional, friendly, and personalized customer service.
- Assist customers with frame selection and eyewear purchases.
- Handle sales transactions and payment processing.
- Perform administrative duties and support store reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in optical retail or vision care is required.
- Prior retail supervisory or management experience.
- An interest in fashion and helping customers feel confident in their eyewear choices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
