Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk activities, guest services, and housekeeping coordination
- Support the management of revenue streams through effective pricing strategies and budget adherence
- Supervise hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and hospitality team members, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
- Handle guest relations with a focus on resolving issues promptly and maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Manage human resources functions such as scheduling, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, practicing exemplary phone etiquette
- Assist in implementing hotel policies related to guest safety, security, and overall operational efficiency
- Support revenue management initiatives by analyzing occupancy trends and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management setting
- Extensive hotel experience with knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and resort environments
- Strong background in hospitality management practices including revenue management, budgeting, and human resources
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and managing conflict resolution
- Experience with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems and reservation platforms is advantageous
