Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives our success. We are currently seeking a skilled Small Tool and Hydraulic Repair Technician to join our dedicated team.
Job Overview:
The Small Tool and Hydraulic Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small tools from battery, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair: Identify problems in small tools and hydraulic systems through inspection and testing. Perform necessary repairs or replacements to restore functionality.
Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on tools and hydraulic equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as needed.
Assembly and Disassembly: Skillfully assemble and disassemble various tools and hydraulic components, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used. Create service reports for customers detailing completed work and recommendations.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and offer advice on tool maintenance and usage when required.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical repair or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in tool repair, hydraulic systems, or a related technical field preferred, but not required, will train the right candidate. **Rate of pay will be based off experience**
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
Working Conditions:
- Work will be performed in a repair shop environment. Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- May require lifting heavy equipment (30-50lbs) and standing for extended periods.
