Senior Data & AI Solution Architect

What is in it for you:
- Salaried: $80-89 per hour.
- Incorporated Business Rate: $94-104 per hour.
- Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
- Hybrid: 3 days/week in Toronto office.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize IT and data solutions using the Azure Data Platform and Informatica product suite.
- Analyze current operations, processes, and tool utilization to assess organizational maturity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive architecture strategy leveraging Azure Data Platform, Azure Databricks, and Informatica solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration across platforms to support business operations and digital marketing initiatives.
- Design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of business and digital initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Provide architectural leadership, technical guidance, and support to project teams throughout the solution design and implementation lifecycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct assessments of the technology landscape to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, and processes.
- Prepare and present reports on system performance, project progress, and architectural recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends related to data architecture, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8 years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
- Strong experience with Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
- Experience working with Microsoft AI technologies and AI-driven solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions using Azure and Informatica platforms.
- Strong ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience providing architectural direction and guidance to technical teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and initiatives, including AI-focused projects.
- Experience with chatbot technologies.
