Full-Time Live-Out Nanny / Family Helper
We are a warm and welcoming family in Oakville looking for a reliable, kind, and experienced Full-Time Live-Out Nanny / Family Helper to join our household.
Our children are teen/pre-teen, so this role is less about traditional childcare and more about helping keep our home organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and interested in becoming a long-term part of our family.
Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy meals and assist with meal planning
- School and activity drop-offs and pick-ups
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Light housekeeping, tidying, and organizing
- Laundry and maintaining children's spaces
- General household support to help with day-to-day routines
- Provide supervision and support to the children as needed
- Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming home environment
Please note: We already have a separate deep cleaning service, so this position focuses on day-to-day household maintenance rather than heavy cleaning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a nanny, family helper, or in a similar household role
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Comfortable cooking healthy family meals
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
- Criminal background check (or willingness to obtain one)
Position Details

- Position: Full-Time, Live-Out
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Date: Flexible / As Soon As Possible
- Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience
