Opto-Mization is a leading Optometry & Vision Therapy Clinic specializing in advanced visual neuroscience and rehabilitation. We help children read with confidence, support adults recovering from concussions, and help seniors regain safety and balance. Our work changes lives—and every team member plays a key role.
We are currently looking for a Full Time Optical Team Member (weekdays + Saturdays) to join our fast-paced, supportive, and growth-focused clinic.
What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with frame selection
- Recommend lens options
- Use a lensometer to verify prescriptions
- Adjust and repair eyewear
- Troubleshoot fitting and visual issues
- Dispense eyewear accurately
- Place and inspect lab orders
- Respond to patient requests (in person & email)
- Maintain inventory and organize the optical area
- General administrative duties (filing, scanning, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ year optical dispensing experience (required)
- Lensometer & frame adjustment experience (required)
- Dispensing experience (required)
- Strong customer service skills (1–2 years)
- Organized, detail-oriented, professional
- Friendly and patient-focused
- Quick learner & effective multitasker
- Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Computer skills (Word + general proficiency)
- Experience in medical or multidisciplinary clinics (asset)
- Jane App experience (asset)

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
