Summary
This role will be key in optimizing manufacturing operations, improving production flow, ensuring inventory controls are in place and operational, and coordinating scheduling activities to ensure efficient, on-time production.
The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, technically strong, and comfortable balancing both strategic improvements and daily production demands.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities will include:
· Development and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
· Root cause analysis for quality or production concerns, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions
· Monitoring of KPI’s and analyzing production workflows to improve performance
· Supporting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
· Robotics management including assisting to build a robotics roadmap, support machine cell design, evaluate robotic systems
· Support implementation planning for automation projects and tracking project timelines and deliverables
· Production planning including creating and monitoring production schedules, assessing inventory requirements, and production forecasting
· Ensuring efficient machine and labour utilization
· Leading weekly production meetings and providing cross-functional updates
· Inventory planning, including implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures and analyzing inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
· Implementation and maintenance of scan gun inventory system
· Regular performance of inventory cycle counts and reconciliations
· Training and supervision of warehouse staff on procedural operations
Qualifications for this role include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
· 3+ years experience and demonstrated success in a manufacturing or production environment
· Experience with ERP/MRP systems and CAD experience such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar
· Advanced Microsoft Excel and production reporting ability
· Knowledge of automation cells, robotics, conveyors, sensors, and guarding
· Experience with Sage Business Management Software an asset, but not required
Skills necessary for this role:

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team

Compensation and benefits:
· Competitive annual salary of $70,000 - $120,000 based on experience and qualifications
