Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Amenities Building Attendant to join our team. We are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic individuals for this resident-facing role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operations of our amenities building. Your exceptional communication skills and strong understanding of our building's rules and procedures will help foster a positive experience for all residents. Tasks include opening and closing of facilities, providing general information, assisting facility users and performing simple janitorial and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Engagement: Provide a warm welcome to residents and guests, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy in accordance with established policies and regulations. In person, on the phone, or via email.
- Operations Oversight: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all amenities, ensuring they are well-organized and ready for resident use.
- Rule Enforcement: Enforce building rules and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, helping to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for all. Adhere to safety protocols and assist in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for everyone.
- Safety and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of amenities, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between residents and management, providing feedback and insights to enhance the overall resident experience.
General Duties:
- Manage court bookings via phone, in person, or online.
- Assist customers with amenity fee inquiries.
- Maintain inventory levels of operating supplies.
- Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, maintaining records, updating customer databases.
- Ensure the lobby, bathrooms, changerooms, and courts are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate private rentals and follow the rental process to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. This includes phone/email communication, escalation if required, ensuring policies and procedures of the business are followed, etc.
- Ensure all court inspections, cleaning, and maintenance tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard.
- Escalate safety and customer related issues to management if they cannot be resolved at the facility attendant level.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor, dealing with varied age groups.
- Ability to perform simple janitorial and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Familiarity with community living and building operations is an asset.

Hourly Wage: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
