Position Summary
Position Title: Class 1 Shunt Truck Driver
Location (Start Point): Balzac, AB
Delivery Area: [Local | Regional | Provincial | Western Canada | Canada-wide | Canada–U.S.]
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Schedule: 4 on - 4 Off rotation, 12 hours shifts
Start Time: 6:00 AM to 6PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment while representing the company.

Responsibilities:
- Moving around 15-25 shunt trailers per shift using a shunt truck
- Be able to park trailers efficiently and tidy yard spacing to help traffic flow
- Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
- Ensure trailers are in good working condition and readily available to be loaded
- Doing local deliveries within Calgary
- Assisting in the Warehouse offloading trailer
Core Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license (manual transmission will be an assest)
- Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
- Shunting experience required
- Moffett and forklift experience is an asset
- Comfortable with smartphone technology
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
- Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach

Class 1 Truck Driver
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience Required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
