Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere at the front desk
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Tracker
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and providing excellent customer service
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information and updating electronic medical records accurately
- Handle billing, payments, and insurance claims with attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain organized patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and documentation standards
- Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, collecting medical history forms, and managing correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar dental office administrative role
- Strong knowledge of dental office procedures, including appointment scheduling and insurance processing
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Tracker
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and office equipment in a fast-paced environment
