Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms, common areas, and workspaces are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for guests and supporting the overall cleanliness of our establishment. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors
- Dispose of trash and maintain waste management procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks during busy periods or special events
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light loads as needed
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous but not mandatory
