Trickster Theatre is seeking a creative and organized Digital Marketing Assistant to support the summer preparation and development of digital resources for the upcoming season. This position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs program, under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy. Applicants must be 30 years old or under. This is an 8-week position.
This position is ideal for someone interested in arts marketing, digital communications, educational programming, and creative content development. The successful candidate will support website updates, social media scheduling, digital content creation, marketing campaigns, artist training resources, and audience engagement tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare website content and posts for the 2026–27 residency season
- Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms
- Assist with website updates, artist bios, news posts, videos, and digital content management
- Support the development of Google Classroom training resources and graphics using AI tools
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns, contact databases, and school outreach materials
- Organize and maintain digital audio, video, and residency resource libraries
- Help create surveys and systems to track school feedback and engagement
- Support Google Ads campaigns and SEO tracking initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience or interest in digital marketing, communications, or arts administration
- Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Experience with website content management systems considered an asset
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and digital organization systems
- Graphic design, video editing, and AI tool experience considered an asset
- Interest in educational theatre and community arts programming
