Crew H Properties is searching for an experiences, eager individual to join our team as a Site superintendent. The candidate will be joining our 6-sfd project in Aldergrove BC with opportunities to continue on future projects throughout the Fraser Valley.
You will manage all construction progress from on site and keep the site on task, on schedule, while working alongside the Crew H team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our homes are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the high standards our clients expect. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities from excavation through occupancy
- Manage schedules and update as necessary
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve project budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Manage all subcontractors and teammates on each project
- Coordinate inspections, consultants, engineers, and municipal requirements
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC requirements and company safety procedures
- Ensuring quality control on site. Quality control is number one priority for us and our clients, never accept something you wouldn’t accept
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site
- Support office staff with project-related documentation and construction administration
- All other Site Superintendent duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Has a strong knowledge of single-family construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain project schedules
- Willingness and ability to learn new software and education
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Qualifications + Requirements
- Obtain First Aid Level 1
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Location in Langley, BC
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on site construction managerial role
Compensation
- $80,000 to $115,000 per annum based on relevant experience and knowledge
- Individual may join as a contracted position or full-time employment
