We are seeking an experienced and customer‑focused Red Seal Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join our growing Service Team. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship, and communicates clearly with homeowners and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, HRVs/ERVs, and ductless systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing.
- Provide clear, professional explanations of issues, repair options, and system recommendations to customers.
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports, including parts used and work performed.
- Ensure all work complies with BC Safety Authority, WorkSafeBC, and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch and service coordinators to support efficient scheduling and workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and manufacturer certification programs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson HVAC Technician certification (or equivalent recognized credential).
- Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC service experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience servicing Daikin, Amana, Goodman, or similar systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid BC driver’s license with a clean abstract.
