Job description
As a Senior Program Manager at Osella Technologies you are responsible for the project(s) or overall program(s) by ensuring the customers’ operational and delivery goals are met as well as financial goals set out by Osella Technologies senior management. The individual in this role must be passionate, focused, driven, and self-motivated to exceed customer, employee and ownership expectations.
Duties and Deliverables
A Program Manager will be assigned to each customer, plant or division and work to exceed our customers expectation all while maximizing profits for Osella Technologies.
· Responsible for producing and distribution of weekly updates to the customer including open issues and delivery timing
· Maintain timing internally by working with staff to aid in the flow of information between departments
· Maintain timing externally by facilitating the flow of information to and from customers, suppliers, and contractors.
· Utilizing Osella Technologies ERP system, the Account Manager will enter data and produce reports as needed and required by management
· Working with the VP of Finance he or she will produce monthly sales forecasts & WIP reports
· Working with the Design, Programming and Build staff as well as the direct customer he or she will host meetings resolve issues and meet milestones.
· Working with the Purchasing staff he or she will ensure timely and accurate purchase orders to our supplier base
· Working with the Accounting staff he or she will ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers.
· Working with the Shipping and Receiving staff he or she will ensure timely and accurate management of goods
· Working with the Office Administration staff he or she will ensure service documents for staff and daily operational requirements are met.
· Lead Job Kick-off meetings and review budgets set out for each job.
· Participate in annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances and identify areas of cost savings.
· Demonstrate and provide leadership in the enforcement and implementation of the company’s program and policies
Qualifications
The following qualifications are the determined minimum requirements for this Intermediate position:
· 10 years’ experience as a Program Manager in the automotive industry, additionally 10 years of previous automation industry experience with transferable skills including but not limited to Engineering Manager, Sr. Automation Designer, Sr. Estimator, Department Leader.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting or an equivalent education and experience combination.
· Strong PC aptitude & skills are required, in particular with Excel, other MS Office products and previous ERP software experience. SAP or ORACLE experience would be considered beneficial.
· Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software.
· Experience with a 3D design software would be advantageous.
· Proficiency with cost control systems to track all labour, direct costs.
· Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing plant processes and standard accounting practices.
· Must have excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
· Strong emphasis as a team player that thrives in a cooperative team environment and presents themselves in a polished professional manner
