Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring Banders (Steel Packaging Operators) to join our production team.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a fast-paced industrial team environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Bander in our packaging department, you will play an important role ensuring steel products are safely prepared for shipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Banding steel coils and sheets using pneumatic banding tools
- Building wooden skids and preparing material for shipping
- Operating material handling equipment and packaging tools
- Working safely around industrial machinery and following standard operating procedures
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Supporting team members and supervisors in daily production activities
This is a physically active role involving lifting materials up to 25–50 lbs and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred
- Experience working safely around machinery and hand tools
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a physically active role
Assets include:
- Overhead crane experience
- Counterbalance forklift experience
- Steel or metals industry experience
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Schedule
Midnight Shift
10:30 PM- 6:30AM
40 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Hourly Rate:
$23.32 – $24.63 per hour
