Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Commercial and Industrial Construction Estimator / Project Coordinator with at least 2 years experience.
Our specialties are Commercial and Industrial Painting, Caulking and Coatings, including Epoxy and Urethane Floors, sealing concrete slabs, concrete restoration, caulking non-rated and fire-rated joints in tilt-up panels‚ or slabs, below-grade waterproofing, as well as standard Paint and Wallcovering services.
In this position, you’ll prepare and present accurate bids to General Contractors. You will be interacting and communicating with General Contractors and Project Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to create comprehensive estimates and other industry-specific tools to prepare detailed estimates.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that outline project costs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation.
- Follow up on bidding leads.
- Coordinate awarded Projects.
- Order Draw Downs and Samples accordingly.
- Follow-up and Coordinate Site Instructions.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Knowledge in all Microsoft Power Apps (Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc).
- Must Have PLANSWIFT Experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using estimating software.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and tools.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Painting and Coatings Estimator.
- Detail oriented and extremely organized.
- Ability to perform in a high-stakes environment.
- Able to work with others in a team environment and foster confidence in all.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal qualities.

Pay: $53,454.00-$56,264.00 per year
