We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casual Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in hospital, outpatient, home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and established protocols.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner.
- Assist with pain management, case management, and coordination of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures and laboratory specimen collection as required.
- Support patients with dementia, senior care, pediatrics, or specialized needs such as trauma or acute illness.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care across different healthcare environments.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards while delivering compassionate patient-centered services.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience working in hospital settings, including acute care, pain management, or medical office environments preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures.
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior/dementia care is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and handle diverse patient populations including pediatrics and elderly patients.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
