We are seeking a highly experienced Independent Sales Representative (Independent Contractor) with an established network in the refining and petrochemical market, specifically in the Mid to Eastern Canada areas.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical sales experience in fabrication and weld overlay/cladding solutions, along with strong existing relationships with refinery clients, EPCs, and maintenance organizations. This is a results-driven role focused on expanding market share, developing new opportunities, and leveraging existing client relationships.
The successful contractor will be responsible for assessing market requirements for both current and future services, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales by building and maintaining strong client relationships. Regular travel to client sites across Eastern Canada maybe required.
What would you be doing?

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting oil & gas refiners and petrochemical facilities

Ensure that FLINT’s Asset Armor products and services are effectively positioned and communicated in the market.

Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities and revenue

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for:

Corrosion-resistant weld overlay (CRA)
-
Abrasion-resistant overlay solutions
-
Pressure vessel and piping fabrication
-
Field service and repair solutions/options
-
Smaller Pressure Vessel Fabrications
-
Maintain and grow relationships with:

Refinery maintenance and reliability teams
-
Turnaround (TA) planners
-
Procurement and engineering groups
-
EPC contractors
-
Provide technical consultation to clients on material selection and overlay/cladding solutions

Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to develop proposals and solutions

Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award

Meet or exceed agreed revenue and margin targets
-
Represent FLINT at industry associations, meetings, and events.
