Climatec Mechanical is a locally owned HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration company serving the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island. We're a Red Seal team that takes pride in doing the job right, from new construction builds to residential, commercial, and strata service work. We're growing, and we're looking for a skilled plumber who wants steady, year-round work with a company that treats its people well.
The Role
You'll primarily be working on new construction projects, with service work mixed in as needed. This is a great fit for someone who's comfortable leading a job from start to finish, rough-in through finish, and who takes ownership of quality, timelines, and the crew around them.
What you'll do:
- Lead and complete new construction plumbing jobs start to finish (rough-in, top-out, finishing)
- Read and work from blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Handle residential, commercial, and strata service and repair calls as they come up
- Coordinate with builders, GCs, and other trades on site
- Mentor apprentices and keep job sites safe, clean, and on schedule
What you bring:
- Red Seal Plumber certification (required)
- Strong new construction experience and the confidence to run a job solo
- Valid BC driver's license and clean driving record
- A professional, reliable, team-first attitude
- Service experience is an asset
