Willows Agriservices Ltd is an agricultural supply company that provides a wide variety of unique services and products to a long standing, stable customer base dating back to 1947. Willows operates multiple retail outlets, elevator facilities, fertilizer blending plant and a modern mash mill production facility that became operational in 2023
We are currently seeking an elevator operator/sprayer technician
Responsibilities
- During fall months(Sept to Jan) longer hours and weekends to be expected, at one of the grain elevator facilities , grading and receiving corn and soybean during harvest which is time sensitive
- Apr- August . Operating a self propelled 2024 spray unit with all the technology and precision that is required . Longer hours and weekend required during May to June
Jan- Apr . Basic maintenance on towers, legs, and the sprayer equipment and helping with general repairs(no weekends required and hours are more flexible)
Requirements
- G drivers license in Canada and have reliable transportation to work
-A mechanical aptitude and previous machinery operation are a must
-Functional math skills and attention to detail are a must
-Ability to work at heights occasionally in accordance with safety requirements
-Self motivated and ability to work in team settings as well
Preferred
- Possess or ability to acquire an Ontario technician or Exterminator agricultural pesticide license
- a 3 bedroom houses is available in very close proximation to work and are available immediately to the right candidate as part of the compensation package
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
