Our client is looking for a skilled B Pressure Welder to join their steelworks team in Acheson, AB. This company specializes in the fabrication of pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel, and they are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to their high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform cutting and welding of mild steel with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret weld form symbols on drawings and determine the required size of fillet welds.
- Read and follow work orders to ensure work meets specifications.
- Weld in all positions, demonstrating versatility and expertise.
- Apply procedural markings to products as required.
- Conduct pre-job and pre-task inspections to ensure safety and quality.
- Monitor equipment, tools, and materials for hazards or potential issues.

Qualifications
- Journeyperson B Pressure Welder certification from a recognized provincial training authority.
- Certified in F6/F6 and capable of welding in all positions.
- CWB ticketed.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in Mig Flux Core welding.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe work procedures.
- Completion of WHMIS training.

Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Overtime opportunities after 40 hours (additional night shift premium of $5 per hour)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $46.00 per hour
