Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to customers and clients
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of items by verifying orders and delivery addresses
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items as required, utilizing proper lifting techniques or equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; valid driver’s license required
- Experience with warehouse operations, moving, or forklift operation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy items frequently and perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Previous experience in commercial driving or logistics is desirable
- Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
- Reliable transportation to reach the starting location of deliveries
