Job description:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Landscaping Laborers. Laborers are responsible for the day-to-day duties of landscaping as directed by the Field Supervisor / Foreperson. This is a seasonal position from mid April to Nov, winter snow removal positions may be available.
Landscaping Laborer
- Prepping sod installation.
- Prepping for mulch install.
- Laying patio pavers.
- Installing rock & flower beds.
- Installing retaining walls.
- Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
- Plant shrubs, and trees.
- Lawn Maintenance skills an asset.
Abilities:
- Use, and maintain applicable equipment.
- Ability to lift the weight of up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to communicate with Foreman and other crew members.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- MUST Possess a CLEAN driver abstract with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- Must be able and willing to work 8 - 10 hour days Monday to Friday & weekends as needed.
- Must have steel-toed boots
- We offer competitive wages as well as overtime after 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week.
