Overview
Our Sherwood Park location is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as a Kitchen Staff. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service in a friendly and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen (ex. washing dishes, taking out garbage, mopping, sanitizing surfaces), including the staff washroom.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-lingual team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Certification in food safety is a plus but not required.
