We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Mission Ridge Animal Hospital. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include managing appointments, greeting clients, answering inquiries, and providing administrative support to our veterinary staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour.
- Answer and manage phone calls, responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Efficiently check in and check out clients, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist clients with filling out forms and gathering necessary information.
- Manage client records and files in accordance with clinic procedures.
- Liaise with veterinary staff and support them in various administrative tasks.
- Provide information about clinic services, pricing, and general pet care.
- Handle client concerns and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and willingness to learn clinic-specific software.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.
