Position Summary
As a Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain specialized production equipment used in the manufacturing of high-quality collectible trading cards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently operate at least one production machine
- Perform standard setups and adjustments
- Conduct quality inspections
- Complete production records accurately
- Identify and report equipment issues
- Maintain production efficiency targets
- Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials and finished goods
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Inspect products for quality and report defects or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas
- Comply with all company safety, sanitation, and environmental policies
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report equipment malfunctions, hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately
Preferred Experience
- Commercial printing
- Packaging manufacturing
- Bindery and finishing operations
- Folding carton production
- Label converting
- Digital print production
- Paper converting or related manufacturing environments
Qualifications
- 2+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with quality inspection and measurement tools
- Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Assets
- Experience with print finishing equipment, cutters, folders, collators, laminators, die cutters, or packaging machinery
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
- Forklift certification
- Mechanical or technical training
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 40 lbs (18 kg)
- Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, gripping, and manual dexterity required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, noise levels, and manufacturing conditions
- Ability to climb stairs and safely maneuver around production equipment
- Must be physically capable of wearing required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, hairnets, and safety glasses
- Ability to work overtime or shift work as required

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
