Days Inn Orillia is looking for positive, motivated individuals who pays attention to the little things, to join our Team as a Room Attendant.
Our Room Attendants provide for the comfort of Hotel guests, ensuring that guest rooms are clean and properly presented, promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Clean guest rooms to the exceptional standards of the Hotel, which entails:
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest bathrooms, bedrooms
- Removing dirty linens and replacing with clean linen / making bds
- Replenishing of linens and amenities
· Stocks linen closets with towels and linen
· Promote a positive image of the Hotel to guests with a pleasant and friendly demeanor to address problems and special requests
· Follows established cleanliness and health and safety procedures and standards
· Assists with preventative maintenance and completes work orders as needed
· Handle and report Lost and Found items
· Assists in pool cleaning/sanitization
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES REQUIRE:
· Attention to detail
· Ability to complete repetitive tasks
· Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting and carrying up to 25 LBS, bending, kneeling
This position would be well-suited to those looking for both morning and afternoon shifts.
Training to brand standards will be provided.
