About the Role
We are seeking reliable Bus Operators to transport crews safely on an active mining site in the Bulkley–Nechako region. This is a camp‑based, rotational position ideal for safety‑focused drivers who value predictable scheduling and a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate crew buses on mining sites following all safety and site protocols
- Ensure passenger safety during transport, boarding, and emergencies
- Follow all PHO and site guidelines
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Keep the bus clean and tidy; fuel as required
- Communicate with dispatch, passengers, and other drivers via two‑way radio
- Report delays, mechanical issues, and incidents promptly
- Direct passengers during emergency or evacuation procedures

Employment Requirements

- Class 2 licence with air brake endorsement (minimum)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Completion of orientation, online training, and on‑the‑job training
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and complete online training
- Ability to work in camp and in a team environment
