Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fireplace Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fireplaces, including gas, wood-burning, and electric models, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform spaces by seamlessly integrating fireplaces into residential and commercial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and craftsmanship to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately plan and execute fireplace installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to prepare sites, install fireplaces, and complete finishing touches.
- Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fitment of fireplaces and related components.
- Perform masonry work, concrete forming, flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, and electrical work as needed for comprehensive installations.
- Apply caulking, construction painting, masonry finishing, plumbing connections, and electrical wiring to ensure a professional finish.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when required for large or complex installations.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate structural integrity and determine the best installation approach while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects within scope.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used for accurate project records.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry, masonry, or general contracting.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential for precise installation planning.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, restoration work, cabinet installation, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various site conditions.
- Prior experience in fireplace or appliance installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot on-site challenges effectively.

Pay: $17.60-$42.23 per hour
