Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paint Protection Film Installer to join our automotive customization team. This role involves applying high-quality protective film to vehicles to enhance their appearance and safeguard against damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on automotive enhancement and protection.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and sanding to ensure optimal adhesion of paint protection film
- Measure, cut, and fit film precisely to match vehicle contours and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to install protective films smoothly without bubbles or wrinkles
- Ensure high-quality finishes by inspecting work for imperfections and making necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during installations
- Assist with vehicle detailing and minor repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols when handling tools, chemicals, and heavy materials
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or mechanic work preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive or film installation
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely, including handling large rolls of film or vehicle parts
- Experience with automotive detailing or protective film application is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with mechanic tasks or automotive customization is advantageous
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and working in various environmental conditions
Pay: $18.25-$38.36 per hour
